Direct hydrothermal synthesis of Mo-containing MFI zeolites using Mo-EDTA complex and their catalytic application in cyclohexene epoxidation

چکیده

A series of Mo-containing MFI zeolites with different Mo loadings (Mo-MFI-n, n represent the initial Si/Mo molar ratio) was hydrothermally synthesized by using tetrapropylammonium hydroxide as template and Mo-EDTA complex source. Various characterization results demonstrated that use is beneficial for incorporation more species into MFI-type zeolites. The special complexing capability EDTA2– plays a critical role in adjusting release rate to combine Si tetrahedron during zeolite growth process, thus leading uniform distribution framework. In addition, small portion extra-framework clusters may be distributed inside channels or near pore window catalytic properties these were evaluated epoxidation cyclohexene H2O2 oxidant. composition-optimized catalyst, Mo-MFI-50, efficiently converted corresponding epoxide relatively high conversion (93%) selectivity (82%) at 75 °C after 9 h reaction. Moreover, resultant catalyst exhibited excellent structural stability recoverability easily recycled simple filtration without need calcination treatment.

Catalytic epoxidation of C60 using Mo(O)2(acac)2/(t)BuOOH.

Highly oxygenated fullerenes, C(60)O(n) with 1 ≤ n ≤ 13, have been prepared by the Mo(O)(2)(acac)(2) catalysed oxidation of C(60) with (t)BuOOH. Increasing the catalyst : C(60) ratio or increasing the reaction temperature increases the yield as well shifting the product distribution to higher oxygenated products, in contrast, increasing the (t)BuOOH concentration shifts the product distribution...

Mo L3-XANES Study of Silylation Effect for Methane Dehydroaromatization over Mo/H-MFI Catalysts

A Mo-modified H-MFI zeolite (Mo/H-MFI) catalyst is one of a typical catalyst for direct GTL (Gas to liquid), because it shows high activity for dehydroaromatization of methane in absence of oxygen. In this reaction, reduction of Mo species is brought about in contact with methane in initial step, and reduced Mo ions react methane to form carbide and/or oxycarbide species in next step. It has be...

Catalytic hydroboration by an imido-hydrido complex of Mo(IV).

The imido-hydrido complex (ArN)Mo(H)(Cl)(PMe(3))(3) catalyses a variety of hydroboration reactions, including the first example of catalytic addition of HBCat to nitriles to form the bis(borylated) amines RCH(2)N(BCat)(2). The latter species easily undergoes chemoselective coupling with aldehydes R'C(O)H to yield imines RCH(2)N=C(H)R'.

A three-coordinate and quadruply bonded Mo-Mo complex.

Reaction of MoCl3(THF)3 with [Me2Si{NLi(Dipp)}2]2 (Dipp = 2,6-i-PrC6H3) afforded a triply bonded dimolybdenum complex 1,2-Mo2Cl2[Me2Si(NDipp)2]2 1, spanned by two Me2Si[N(Dipp)]2 ligands, thus resulting in a syn conformation. The air- and moisture-sensitive compound 1 was characterized by NMR spectroscopic, elemental, and single-crystal X-ray crystallographic analysis. Reduction of 1 by Na/Hg y...

Encapsulation of metal clusters within MFI via interzeolite transformations and direct hydrothermal syntheses and catalytic consequences of their confinement.

The encapsulation of metal clusters (Pt, Ru, Rh) within MFI was achieved by exchanging cationic metal precursors into a parent zeolite (BEA, FAU), reducing them with H2 to form metal clusters, and transforming these zeolites into daughter structures of higher framework density (MFI) under hydrothermal conditions. These transformations required MFI seeds or organic templates for FAU parent zeoli...
